On the Road: New Directions’ Ride & Drive Transformation Tour is an event like no other—part scenic car tour & motorcycle ride, and part photographic odyssey and contest.

The route will feature one-of-a-kind painted scenes and photo-backdrops like the famous Beatle’s Abbey Road and a charming turn-of-the-century photo-studio moon prop to sit on, featured below. The theme of this event is transformation. We help people every day with the transformation from addiction to recovery, and the backdrops along this tour will represent all sorts of interactive transformational themes. There will be many more unique experiences, in addition to the ones below, at the event!

Join us on July 31st and make pictures and memories with your family and friends that will last a lifetime.

The scenic car tour will be organized along a route in Northeast Ohio, starting at Garfield Memorial Church – 3650 Lander Rd. Pepper Pike, Ohio 44124. From two to four wheels, all are welcome to join in the fun! We’ll be stopping at special designated sites along the tour route. Stops, in order, will be End of the Commons General Store, Mosquito Lake (lunch included), and Glenwillow. Each stop will have one or two unique backdrops to enjoy. The final stop at Glenwillow will also include basket raffles and a HUGS Foundation 50/50 raffle! You don’t need to attend to win the Super Raffle prizes (winners announced on our Facebook page on Sunday August 1 at 1pm) but you do have to be in-person on July 31 to participate in the basket and 50/50 raffles.

With safe, socially-distanced protocols in place, participants can make individual or family photos at each stop to share, and collect stamps on a special participant passport for a chance to win grand prizes such as a 55″ big screen TV courtesy of Snow Bros., Apple iPad courtesy of Board of Directors, $1,000 Legacy Village shopping spree, and more. Plus, lunch will be provided!
