Join us for a Front Yard BBQ on September 17, 2022 from 12pm-4pm at New Directions presented by John and Sharon Berger.
This fun, family-friendly fundraising event is organized in participation of National Recovery Month and will be held outdoors at New Directions located at 30800 Chagrin Blvd, Cleveland, OH. The honorary co-chairs of the event this year are Gail Allison and Nancy Hanna.
We are grateful for our neighborhood friends and supporters at Garfield Memorial Church for providing ample and easy-access parking (3650 Lander Rd, Pepper Pike, OH 44124). Shuttles to New Directions’ Front Yard BBQ will be provided.
This year’s fundraiser is also a celebration of CEO Mike Matoney’s legacy of leadership spanning four decades at New Directions as he embarks on the next stage of his journey to semi-retirement this December. New Directions alumni families & friends, long-time supporters, staff—past and present, and new friends will gather for an afternoon of fun, family-friendly outdoor barbecue picnic and activities on the campus of New Directions. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet and speak with our next CEO, Shayna Jackson. Because recovery benefits our entire community, all are welcome to join us for a fun outdoor barbecue courtesy of Heathland Hospitality Group, cornhole, games, contests, New Directions’ Super Raffle, 50/50 Raffle, prizes, and a few surprises.
New Directions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering integrated services for recovery and mental health for adolescents, young adults, and their families. All proceeds directly benefit New Directions’ Residential Summer Education Program.
